Membership Categories and Annual Membership fees: ACTIVE ($30): All full-time law enforcement officers with power of arrest who are paid by public funds. ASSOCIATE ($25): All retired and part-time officers paid by public funds, and any person who by training, experience, or other professional attainments in law enforcement, including persons publicly employed in other areas of law enforcement and persons privately employed as security officers SUSTAINING ($25): Any individual or group interested to foster the aims and objectives of the MAWP. STUDENT ($20): Any student enrolled in a law enforcement program

MAWP mentoring opportunities benefit both mentors and those they mentor * The MAWP annual training conference provides opportunities for you to earn Minnesota P.O.S.T. credits by participation in some of the finest workshops, seminars and training offered. * MAWP holds an annual awards ceremony. Minnesota’s finest women peace officers are recognized for Officer of the Year, Valorous acts, Leadership, Community Service, and Excellence. * MAWP participates in and promotes ethical and non-discriminatory practices by all members and their organizations.
