The 2012 Awards Banquet will be held at Arrowwood Resort in Alexandria, MN during the 2012 Annual Conference.
The scholarship’s purpose is to provide financial assistance to qualified women seeking a career in law enforcement. To qualify, the female student must be within twelve months of successfully completing a P.O.S.T. approved law enforcement program at the time of application.

The 2011 MAWP Awards Ceremony was held at Treasure Island Casino on April 4, 2011. The following individuals were recognized for their exceptional performance in 2010.
2011 Excellence in Service Award: Janis Peterson, St Paul Police Department and Anne Marie Buck, Hopkins Police Department.
2011 Excellence in Performance Award: Officer Kathleen O’Reilly and Offficer Amy Boyer, St Paul Police Department.
2011 Leadership Award: Investigator Amy Ament, Wadena County Sheriff’s Office and Officer Naomi Plautz, Wadena Police Department.
2011 Melissa Schmidt Community Service Award: Officer Shannon Harvey, Kenyon Police Department.
2011 Recognition of Heritage (30 Years) Award: Retired Chief Deputy Loni Payncs, Anoka County Sheriff’s Office.
