MAWP's mission is to provide leadership opportunities and promote professionalism through training opportunities. MAWP is managed by a Board of Directors made of a 7 members. The term of President serves a 2 year term and an additional 2 year term as Past President. All other elected positions serve a 2 year term. MAWP Executive Board Member positions open to for election in 2012 are President, First Vice President, Second Vice President, Secretary, Treasurer, Historian, Newsletter Editor The Executive Board positions are open to all current MAWP members who are licensed police officers. Nominations will be received for these positions until April 15, 2012.
